Kulturna dediščina. Tisto, kar nekoga ali nekaj naredi drugačnega, prepoznavnega, sebi lastnega.

In a world that’s drowning in waste and craving smarter consumption, upcycling isn’t just a buzzword, it is a powerful part of the circular economy. Following DIPSTOR’s Evolutionary Design concept, we now have a deeper, more visual way to understand it.
Let’s dive into why upcycling matters, how it fits into the bigger picture of sustainable design, and what it takes to keep value flowing instead of ending in landfills.
For over a century, maybe even two, our economy has followed a straight path: extract resources, make products, use them, and throw them away. This linear economic model has shaped modern society, driving consumption and, unfortunately, generating massive amounts of waste. But today, global reports and research are ringing alarm bells louder than ever: this model is no longer sustainable.
The circular economy is often described in technical or industrial terms. But at its core, it is a human project, a reimagining of how we live, produce, and share responsibility for the planet. We believe that the key circular community units such as consumers, services, developers, secondary material providers, producers, and distributers, must be interconnected and that at the heart of all this is development, not just of products, but of systems and mindsets, so that community-building is by that also anchored in shared views and values.
